Niam has earned a 5-star rating from the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) for the Niam Nordic Core-Plus II fund. This achievement, with an overall score of 88, reflects Niam's consistent improvement year after year and underscores our commitment to sustainability.

What is GRESB?

GRESB is a comprehensive third-party standard driven by investors, providing financial markets with valuable ESG data and actionable insights into individual assets and portfolios. Companies are evaluated and scored on a 5-star rating system, reflecting the portfolio's rank in comparison to the global performance of all reporting entities.

In 2023, GRESB's reach expanded, with a total of 2,084 participating companies from 75 different countries. This demonstrates the growing significance of sustainable practices and transparency in the business world.

Achieving the Highest 5-Star Rating

Niam's GRESB score of 88 represents a two-point increase compared to the previous year, surpassing both peer and GRESB averages. Furthermore, Niam has excelled in six categories, earning the maximum score in each: Leadership, Policies, Reporting, Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Targets. This performance has culminated in the highest 5-star rating.

How did we achieve this?

This score is the result of Niam's steadfast commitment to ESG initiatives within our properties. GRESB has acknowledged our strong sustainability strategy and effective working methods as key factors. While we are pleased with our progress on the ESG front, we remain dedicated to continuous improvement in the years ahead.
