Opportunistic Strategy

Niam’s Nordic opportunistic strategy invests in all asset classes across the region and the funds target 18-20% gross IRRs. The highly successful platform began in 2000 and Niam is currently investing from the 7^th fund in the series. All of Niam’s opportunistic funds have outperformed or are on track to meet or exceed their target returns. Notably, Niam III (2004 vintage) and Niam IV (2007 vintage) are fully divested at top quartile returns according to the Cambridge Associates benchmarks. Niam’s investor base in its most recent opportunistic funds - Niam III through Niam VII - includes some of the world’s largest and most noteworthy pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations and other institutions.
